Shannon Holloway, CHFP is the Founder and Principal of Holloway R&D, where she serves as a trusted advisor to founders and decision-makers at the edge of compute and capital.

Her entrepreneurial ethos was forged early in her family’s clinical healthcare practice, where she learned firsthand that technology uptime means real human health and livelihoods are on the line. She brought this operational foundation to a 20-year cross-sector career that includes incubating early-stage products at Google Area 120 that reached $1B+ valuations and billions of users, building broadband playbooks for the New York City Mayor’s Office, and launching the venture arm of Steadfast Financial LP. Today, she supports the Space Beach ecosystem as a Technology and Innovation Commissioner for the City of Long Beach and a mentor at Techstars Space Accelerator.

As a Board-Certified Human Factors Professional (CHFP), Shannon combines a practitioner’s intuition with scientific rigor to eliminate human-system risk in mission-critical deployments. Her work has earned a Red Dot Design Award and has been published by the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM). She holds an M.S. from NYU Tandon School of Engineering and a B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley.
