Meet Shannon
Shannon Holloway, CHFP is the Founder and Principal of Holloway R&D. Her entrepreneurial ethos was forged early in her family’s clinical healthcare practice, where she learned firsthand that technology uptime means real human health and livelihoods are on the line. She brought this operational foundation to a 20-year career at the edge of computing and capital. Her cross-sector track record includes incubating early-stage ideas at Google Area 120 that reached $1B+ valuations and billions of users, building broadband playbooks for the New York City Mayor’s Office, and launching the venture arm of Steadfast Financial LP.
As a Board-Certified Human Factors Professional (CHFP), Shannon combines a practitioner’s intuition with scientific rigor to eliminate human-system risk in mission-critical deployments. Her work has earned a Red Dot Design Award and has been published by the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM), the Environmental Design Research Association (EDRA), and the CSUN Assistive Technology Conference. She holds an M.S. from NYU Tandon School of Engineering and a B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley.
